The HP Deskjet 5550 is the first HP Deskjet printer to have up to 4800 x 1200 optimized dpi resolution in color printing for exceptional photo quality. The HP Deskjet also offers borderless 10 x 15 cm (4 x 6-inch) photo printing. This printer is capable of reaching print speeds of up to 17 pages per minute in black text and brilliant color photos at up to 12 pages per minute on most paper types and sizes. In addition, The DeskJet 5550 printer is equipped with an automatic paper-type sensor which has the ability to detect the type of paper in the in-tray for optimal print quality results, automatically identifying and selecting the print modes for the most appropriate paper and transparency film.
